Hana Yori is hands down my favorite place to eat in Jacksonville. I have celiac disease and have NEVER had any issues eating here, which says so much about how knowledgeable and careful their team is. I also have to give a shoutout to my personal favorite server, Cali. They are always so kind and welcoming, and consistently make our experience even better. It’s so refreshing to go somewhere and know I can safely eat while also having great conversations. I recommend this place to anyone who asks because they truly rock. I haven’t been in a couple of weeks, but I think about it daily. Highly recommend!

A nice cozy environment for some delicious hibachi and sushi. The food was good. Service was amazing. They were attentive and friendly! I'll definitely be back!

Overpriced and lacking in flavor. I had the hibachi filet mignon and shrimp. Entrées come with clear soup, salad (ginger or ranch dressing), rice (steamed or fried) and veggies. Besides the soup and salad, everything else was bland. I had to put soy sauce on the fried rice and douse the protein in teriyaki sauce for flavor which is something that I don’t have to do at other hibachi places. Unfortunately less than an hour after leaving the restaurant, I started having severe stomach cramps. The food poisoning was horrible and lasted a few days. If I got sick from the hibachi food, I definitely would not trust their sushi. It’s safe to say I’m not going back.

What a gem of a place, so glad we gave them a try. I love Lil mom and pop shops like Hana Yori. Awesome service, Tanya our waitress was fabulous. Very attentive, helpful, and sweet. We were craving sushi, and they nailed it. We split 4 rolls and a scallops and shrimp hibachi dish..phenomenal! Great Japanese food, and at a good price.. The atmosphere is mellow and comfortable, casual dress type place, the place itself is kinda quaint but I really love how they decorate their walls. They are completely covered with little wood tiles, that the guest themselves decorate. Really cool, and entertaining to read while waiting for your food. I'm gonna have to go back just to decorate one, because they were out of the wood tiles when we dined in. All good,gives me a reason to go back and get some more sushi and hibachi. If your into Japanese food, don't miss this place...ask for Tanya.

Food is consistently good. Cooked to order. Great sushi variety. Portion sizes were great. Good seasoning without being over spicy. Definitely try the white fish.
